Alia Bhatt has opened up on how she and Ranbir Kapoor deal with failure and success.

Alia Bhatt, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, mentioned that her husband Ranbir Kapoor and she deal with things very differently.

Alia Bhatt recently shared what she’s learned from her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and how they handle success and failure. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, she mentioned that Ranbir and she deal with things differently. Alia said, “Ranbir and I handle things differently. I am more contemplative, a bit of an overthinker, while he prefers to shake off the dust and move on quickly. It’s this difference that helps us support each other, providing balance when it’s needed the most.”

She also mentioned, “But both of us choose to focus on work with a lot of love and immense respect. We work like it is a part of our life — a very important one — but not the whole of our life.”

Alia was asked to name a few Indian and global icons that served as an inspiration to her. The actress mentioned Kate Winslet and praised her for her “incredible range and resilience.” She further expressed her love for Taylor Swift. Appreciating her, she said, she transforms all experiences into “heartfelt music.” She then added, “These women embrace their journeys with such élan and ease—that authenticity is what I aim to bring to my roles.”

Meanwhile, Alia made head turns in a stunning saree by Sabyasachi at the Met Gala. Interestingly, Alia’s traditional attire received the loudest cheers on the Met Gala red carpet. International paparazzi couldn’t contain their excitement as she posed. Needless to say, her look was loved by fans and her family, including her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Beyond her fashion choices, Alia also embraced her Indian culture by warding off the evil eye in a quintessential desi way. She applied a kajal dot behind her ear, a traditional practice. It can be seen in a photo where she faces away from the camera.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022 and they are doting parents to daughter Raha.

On the film front, Alia will soon be seen in Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and jointly produced by Alia and Karan Johar. She has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Ranbir, on the other hand, will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
