Alia Bhatt was all praises for Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
Alia Bhatt recently said that Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are huge sources of inspiration for her when it comes to working in Hollywood. Alia, who is one of the biggest Bollywood stars today, also made her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone last year.
Speaking at a Forbes’ event about working in Hollywood, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actress said, “Actresses from the Indian film industry have done that and are huge sources of inspiration to me. Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika, these are actors who are friends of mine but whom I also admire deeply. I have to give them a lot of credit because they paved the way in a sense. You know, made it a normal thing.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up Vasan Bala’s Jigra. The film features Alia and Vedang Raina in prominent roles. She has also jointly produced the film with Karan Johar. Alia recently signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Alia Bhatt will also be seen in a standalone YRF Spy Universe film. It has been long rumoured that Alia will be making her debut in the production house’s spy universe, which includes films such as the Tiger series and Pathaan. The news of her standalone spy film was confirmed by Yash Raj Films’ CEO Akshaye Widhani during the FICCI Frames event.
Alia’s standalone spy film will be the sixth film in the spy universe. So far, YRF has released five films in the spy world. These include Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3, Pathaan and War. While Alia’s film has been confirmed, it is rumoured that YRF is also working on War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, and Pathaan 2. The film will mark SRK’s return as Pathaan.
