New Delhi: We can’t keep calm! Newlywed couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. The actress took to Instagram to share the good news with her fans. In the photo, Alia can be seen lying on the bed and Ranbir is sitting next to her. They are both glued to the screen that shows the ultrasound of their impending baby. To express her feelings, animal lover Alia shared another picture of a lion and lioness with her cub. “Our baby….. coming soon,” Alia captioned her post with an infinity, red heart and stars emoji.
Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14 this year in an intimate ceremony at RK’s Bandra residence. The two dated for five years before getting married. The two are head over heels in love with each other and always say the sweetest things about each other.
After their wedding ceremony, Alia took to Instagram to share pictures from her D-Day and penned a love note, which read, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home… our favorite places But – on the balcony where we spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to create more memories together…memories that are filled with love, laughter, cozy silence, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and sugar bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very important time in our lives. It made this moment even more special. Luv, Ranbir and Alia”.
On the work front, both Alia and Ranbir are swamped with upcoming projects. Ranbir will be next seen in ‘Shamshera’. He has also waited a lot for Ajan Mukherjee’s ‘Brahmastra’ to release this year. The film also stars Alia Bhatt. The actor has also recently wrapped up shooting for Luv Ranjan’s next.
Alia is currently busy shooting for her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stone’, which also stars Gal Gadot. She also has Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Love Story’ opposite Ranveer Singh and will also star in her first production film ‘Darlings’ which also stars Shefali Shah.
