few years ago, Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor expressed his love in front of the world. Since then, fans have been rooting for one of the most admired couples Bollywood. For at least a year, media reports are rife that the couple has fixed their wedding date. A few days back, it was told in a report that Alia and Ranbir will tie the knot in December this year.
In a recent development, however, it has been revealed that the big day for the couple is not until next year. According to a report in Times of India, Alia and Ranbir are eagerly waiting for the wedding but this year it is not happening. A source close to the couple informed the portal that Alia and Ranbir have grand wedding plans and have been planning their big day for a long time now. They don’t want to rush it, and hence the deadline may take longer.
A report in Deccan Chronicle said that the couple has planned their respective work schedules so that their calendar is free in December this year.
Alia’s mother Soni Razdan was also asked when the marriage would take place. In response to this question, the actress told Bollywood Life, ‘I am also waiting for some information. Lots of time left. This will happen sometime in the future, and it is far away. You might have to call Aaliya’s agent for that, but her agent might not even know.
The couple were actually planning for the big day to happen last year. Talking to film critic Rajeev Masand in an interview, Ranbir had said, had it not been for the pandemic, he and Alia would have been married already. The actor said, ‘But I don’t want to make fun of it by saying anything. I want to mark that goal soon in my life.”
Alia and Ranbir have worked together in several commercials and ad campaigns. However, Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji will mark their first collaboration in a film. The much-awaited project has faced several delays in its release.
