Bachchan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Kriti Sanon has reached its final stages of filming. The cast and crew of the film have been shooting in Thane district of Maharashtra for quite some time now. In the last segment, the team will shoot with 200 actors at a multiplex in Andheri, Mumbai. According to media reports, the crew of the film has already reached the destination and is following all the safety norms and precautions. The film, directed by Farhad Samji and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, has already been delayed due to the coronavirus situation.

Arshad and Keerti have already wrapped up shooting for their portions, while Akshay is scheduled to wrap up his portions on Thursday and Friday. The shooting of the film will end after Akshay successfully completes his part.
Bachchan Pandey is an action comedy film starring Akshay as a gangster and Kirti as a journalist. Other important roles in the film are being played by Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar and Gaurav Chopra. If all goes well, the film will hit the theaters on the upcoming Republic Day. The release of the film has been postponed twice so far. Originally it was scheduled to release on December 25, 2020, but could not happen due to the COVID-19 situation, so the release date was extended to January 22, 2021, but it is not possible to release the film again. and hence the date has been extended. Now extended till 26th January, 2022.
