After playing the role of the fearless warrior Prithviraj Chauhan on the big screen, Akshay Kumar Now gearing up for the release of his comedy-drama film Raksha Bandhan. Akshay Kumar on Monday shared several behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the film. From smiling with Bhumi Pednekar and director Aanand L Rai to posing with the entire cast of the film, the post sees Akshay Kumar as his character Lala Kedarnath. Sharing the post, the actor highlighted that the film celebrates the special bond between brothers and sisters.
He called Raksha Bandhan, “A film celebrating the most special bond where there was actually a lot of bonding. Sharing some special moments from this very special film, coming to your nearest theater in 1 month. #Rakshabandhan is releasing in cinemas on 11th August.”
Helmed by Aanand L Rai, Raksha Bandhan also stars Sahajmin Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Saadia Khatib, Smriti Shrikant and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. Jointly operated by Zee Studios, Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film is all set to hit the big screens with the festival of Raksha Bandhan on August 11, 2022.
The plot of the film narrates the life of a responsible elder brother who fulfills his promise to settle all his younger sisters before marriage. Though their fast becomes a big hurdle in their own love story, the brothers never hold back and set a great example for the society.
Akshay Kumar’s last release was the action drama Samrat Prithviraj directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. This movie marked Bollywood Manushi Chhillar’s Debut Akshay has Raksha Bandhan besides Jacqueline Fernandez, Ram Setu with Nushrat Bharucha.
