Ajnala Incident: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during his meeting with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that the law and order in the state (Punjab) is under control. Speaking on the Ajnala incident, Mann stressed the capability of the Punjab Police and alleged that for 10 years social bonds were fired in Punjab but the people of the state wanted to live together.

The Punjab CM further said that his state is peaceful. ‘You have wrong information. Punjab Police is capable of controlling law and order in Punjab. For 10 years, bullets were fired on social bonds in Punjab. But people want to be together. We have a peaceful state.
Arvind Kejriwal with Uddhav Thackeray
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann on Friday met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his Mumbai residence.
Arriving in Mumbai along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP leader Raghav Singh Chaddha, Kejriwal said the Shiv Sena faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had stolen the name and symbol of Uddhav’s party.
Kejriwal urges opposition parties to unite for 2024 elections
Talking to media persons here, he said that the plan to meet the former Maharashtra Chief Minister was in the pipeline for the last three years. The Delhi CM claimed that he could not meet Thackeray due to coronavirus protocols.
Furthermore, he revealed his plans for the next general elections and said that the opposition parties needed to unite to fight the battle against the Bharatiya Janata Party. Kejriwal claimed, “Aam Aadmi Party is not just an alternative but a solution. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have set the benchmark for good governance.”
