National Security Advisor Ajit Doval today met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss and review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir following the targeted killings in the state.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day on Thursday, a Rajasthan bank manager was shot dead in Kulgam. The victim has been identified as Vijay Kumar, who used to work in Elakwai Dehati Bank. He was shot right outside his office.
On Tuesday, terrorists shot dead a Hindu female teacher Rajni Bala in Kulgam district. This is the second murder of a non-Muslim government employee in the month of May. On May 12, clerk Rahul Bhat was shot dead inside the Tehsildar’s office in Chadoora tehsil of Budgam district.
