The registration process for the AIL Law Entrance Test (LET) 2024 was started by the Army Insitute of Law on April 9. Candidates who are interested in applying for either BA LLB or LLM courses can now do so directly at the official AIL website at aic.ac.in. The AIL LET 2024 application process will be available until May 8. Candidates who apply for the courses after the said date will have to pay a late fee of Rs 4000. No more forms will be entertained after May 13.
The AIL LET application correction window will begin three days later on May 16.
AIL LET 2024: VACANCY DETAILS
A total of 71 seats will be reserved for the children of Indian Army personnel. Only a single seat will be reserved for the children of Indian Navy personnel, three for Indian Air Force personnel and five for the All India General Category. Candidates will be selected for these vacancies based on the Online Law Test to be held in different test centres.
AIL LET 2024: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates who have completed their 12th standard from the Punjab School Education Board or an institution considered equal by Punjabi University, Patiala are eligible to appear for the exam. They must have qualified with at least 45 per cent marks in their exam. Students who completed their 12th through open university programs without the necessary qualifications will not be considered eligible to apply for law courses.
AIL LET 2024: HOW TO APPLY?
Candidates interested in applying for the AIL LET 2024 must follow the guide provided below –
Step 1: The primary step requires you to visit the official AIL website at www.ail.ac.in.
Step 2: Once you are on the homepage, look for the link that reads ‘AIL LET 2024 application form’ and then click on it.
Step 3: Candidates will now have to log in using their credentials.
Step 4: The next step requires you to fill out the application while providing all your details.
Step 5: Once finished, go through the form to check for any mistakes.
Step 6: If everything looks fine, upload all the required documents.
Step 7: Pay the application fee and then click on the submit button.
Step 8: After the submission, download the form and then save the file on your computer as a PDF file.
Step 9: It is also advised that you get a printout of the document for future reference.
AIL LET 2024: APPLICATION FEE
The application fee for both general and army category students is Rs 3000.
