This year the AIBE 17 cut-off was reduced due to the elimination of two questions. The council prepared the final result on the basis of remaining 98 questions.

All India Bar Exam, AIBE XVII Result 2023 likely to be released today, 17th April. The results of AIBE 17 will be made available by the Bar Council of India (BCI) on the official website – allindiabarexamination.com. AIBE 2023, the 17th edition of the All India Bar Examination, was conducted offline on February 5 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The provisional answer key for AIBE 17 was released on February 13 and candidates had time till February 20 to lodge a complaint. AIBE 17 Revised answer key has been made available After examining the objections of the applicants on 14 April by the Council.

This year the cut-off score of AIBE 17 was lowered due to the elimination of two questions. With the new adjustments, the council prepared the final result on the basis of the remaining 98 questions from the 100-question AIBE 17. Once the result is available online, the council will additionally indicate the merit status of each candidate.

Those who pass the All India Bar Examination will be allowed to practice law in India. Candidates will not be given a separate scorecard, instead, they will be informed whether they have ‘passed/failed’ in the exam. The AIBE, which is a prerequisite for obtaining a certificate of practice, assesses an advocate’s ability to apply the laws and practice in India. AIBE is conducted in multiple languages, and the certificate awarded is accepted all over India.
