BTS Jin will start their military recruitment soon. The K-pop artist will reportedly start his mandatory military service on December 13. Ahead of his recruitment, BTS fans are in a meltdown. They have been sending him emotional messages and promising to support the South Korean star upon his return. Amid this, several reports claimed that there will be an event where Kim Seokjin will interact and say goodbye to fans before starting his nearly 2-year long military service.

However, dismissing these reports, Bih Hit, the company that manages Jin and Superband, released a statement on Weavers, a Korean social media platform, stating that no such event would be held. The statement was posted on Twitter by several fan accounts. Here is the statement that reads:

Greetings,

This is bigit music.

We would like to thank you for your continued support of BTS and update you on Jin’s upcoming recruitment into the army.

Those who join the army will complete their required time with the army. Please note that we will not organize any official function on the day of their recruitment.

The entrance ceremony is a time celebrated only by military personnel and their families. To prevent any problems caused by crowding, we ask fans to avoid visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your touching words of support and farewell in your heart.

We also advise you not to be adversely affected by purchasing unauthorized tours or product packages using artist IPs illegally. Our company will take necessary action against any attempt of commercial activity making unauthorized use of such IP.

We ask for your continued love and support for Jin till he finishes his military service and comes back. Our company will also try to provide all possible assistance to him during this period.

Thanks.

Earlier it was shared by their management agency that all seven members of the popular South Korean music group BTS are looking forward to doing their military service with the oldest member Jin starting the process by the end of December.

In South Korea, all able-bodied males are required to serve in the military for approximately two years. In a statement posted on the fan community forum Wavers, the band’s management company BigHit Music stated that the septet expected to reunite as a unit around 2025 following their service commitment.

According to the company, the other members – RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – are planning to do their military service based on their individual plans.

The group, which debuted in 2013, is currently on a break as a unit, with each member pursuing solo projects.
They had announced their break in June this year.
