KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty will reportedly get married this year
Recently, Athiya Shetty’s brother Ahan Shetty shared a few pictures of the actress and her cricketer boyfriend KL Rahul from their New Year party.
The news of Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding has been doing the rounds for a long time. The couple, who made their relationship insta-official sometime around 2021, never shies away from showing their affection for each other. Recently, the actress’s brother Ahan Shetty shared a few pictures of Athiya and Rahul from their New Year party. In the photos, Ahaan can be seen posing with his friends and KL Rahul. In one of the pictures, Athiya can be seen in the background.
While sharing the photos, he wrote, ‘Better late than never’.

Meanwhile, talking about Athiya and Rahul, reports suggest that they might exchange their wedding vows at Suniel Shetty’s lavish bungalow in Khandala. According to a report in ETimes, KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty’s post-marriage home is two buildings away from Ranbir-Alia’s Bandra residence. Having said that, sources have revealed that the wedding ceremony will be held at Suniel Shetty’s lavish bungalow in Khandala. Those who have caught glimpses of the property in past media and social media coverage can attest that Suniel Shetty’s house amidst the hills is nothing less than a resort. It is a perfect venue for a million dollar wedding like KL Rahul and Athiya’s.
However, the lavish expanses of this hilltop residence will only be open to immediate families and close friends of the couple. Rahul-Athiya’s marriage is likely to be a private affair. Prominent names from the world of cricket, Bollywood and some of Shetty’s business friends are surely expected to attend the wedding.
