The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed applications filed by telcos, including Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel, raising the issue of alleged errors in the figure of dues relating to adjusted gross revenue (AGR) payable by them.
“All miscellaneous applications are dismissed,” a bench headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao said while pronouncing the order.
Telecom companies had submitted before the apex court that arithmetical errors in calculations be corrected and there are cases of duplication of entries.
The top court had on July 19 said it would pass orders on applications filed by telecom companies.
The top court in September last year had given 10 years to telecom service providers who are struggling to pay AGR-related Rs 93,520 crore to clear their dues to the government.
