Dhanush’s last few films like Jagme Thanthiram have also not been able to do wonders at the box office. Atrangi Re, directed by Aanand L Rai, also joined the list of films that received mixed reviews from the audience and critics.

With films like Valimai and Pushpa breaking box office records, Dhanush’s future projects are looking at a slowdown in the market.

Vetrimaaran has several web series in the works, and he is also developing a film Adhigaaram starring actor Raghava Lawrence.
