A second resolution appreciating and thanking Amarinder Singh for his contribution to Punjab and Congress was also passed unanimously in the meeting, PTI reported.

“We have sent two resolutions to the party high command which were passed in the Congress Legislature Party today. We are waiting for their decision,” All India Congress Committee (AICC) Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat said while exiting the meeting.

Maken further said that he hopes the party will “continue to get guidance” from Amarinder Singh.
