Actress Nayanthara, who was on honeymoon with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, returned from her trip and resumed work on her film Jawan. Film Stars, directed by Atlee Shahrukh Khan in the lead. The Lady Superstar was clicked in Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon. In the video shared by the paparazzi, she can be seen sitting in her car wearing a red and white striped top. She smiled at the shutterbugs.

Pinkvilla earlier reported that Nayanthara kickstarted the new shooting schedule as she joined Shah Rukh in the ongoing schedule of Jawan. It is going to be a long event till mid-July. She took a short break for her honeymoon post marriage but is now back to fulfill her professional commitments.
The jawan was formally announced earlier this summer. SRK released a poster and a teaser in which his face is covered with bandages. The teaser has got the fans excited about the film. Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Atlee. It will hit the theaters on June 2, 2023 in five Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Talking about the film, Shah Rukh said, “It is too early to say. There is still a long way to go. I can’t tell you much about Jawan except that I am having a great time as an actor. And director Atlee, it’s a different kind of film. Everyone has seen his work. He makes excellent people-oriented films, again a genre I have never tried. So, I wanted to try my hand at it. And I think there is good chemistry between me and Atlee. I bring something (in the film), and he brings something. Whatever we have done for the jawan is thrilling and exciting.”
Apart from Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s own much-awaited release Pathan is also in the pipeline. In the film, he will reunite with Deepika Padukone after Happy New Years and also stars John Abraham. Pathan will release on Republic Day next year. Apart from these, he will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara will be starring in the upcoming film O2. The film will release on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.
