With Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan taking a stellar opening at the box office on the second day of its run, the veteran actor started the year with a bang. As is evident from the love the superstar is receiving from his fans and critics alike, it is sure that the actor is all set to continue the momentum with his next film Jawan – which will also be his first all-India film. Now reports say, Shahrukh Khan Will resume shooting for the same very soon.
According to PeepingMoon, the actors will be back on the floors from February 1. While he will be immersed in a six-day schedule, for which he will have to shoot some high-intensity action sequences, he will be accompanied by Sanya Malhotra. As far as Vijay Sethupathi and Priyamani are concerned, they will go ahead with their schedule later in the month of February. The makers are also working in full swing on the post-production of the film and they are expecting to complete Jawan by March 2023 after shooting in some major cities.
Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer Jawan will feature Shah Rukh Khan opposite Vijay Sethupathi in dual roles. The shooting of the action-thriller film, helmed by Atlee, began in September 2021, with the shooting already done in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. It is set for a theatrical release on 2 June 2023. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and GK Vishnu headlines the cinematography department. Jawan will also feature Deepika Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra and Yogi Babu.
Shah Rukh Khan had earlier talked about his pan-India film, “Jawaan is a universal story that transcends languages, geographies and is meant for all to enjoy. The credit goes to Atlee for making this unique film, which has also been a great experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is only the tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse of what’s to come,” the actor said in a statement.
