New Delhi: Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora on Monday (December 13) confirmed that they have tested positive for COVID-19. Now, as per the latest update, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor and his friend Seema Khan have also tested positive for the virus.
Both Maheep and Seema have quarantined themselves. However, official confirmation from their side is awaited.
According to Pinkvilla, “Mahip Kapoor is COVID-19 positive with mild symptoms of cold and fever. He is currently in isolation and as a responsible citizen he has asked all his loved ones to get tested for COVID-19. has been notified.”
Kareena took to social media to inform that her family and staff have been double vaccinated and they are not showing any symptoms. Amrita also wrote that her family and staff tested negative for COVID. Kareena Kapoor’s statement read, “I have tested positive for Kovid. I self-isolated immediately following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to kindly get tested.”
Earlier in the day, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation revealed that Kareena’s residence in Mumbai has been sealed. It is reported that both Kareena and Amrita recently attended several parties and hence could be super-spreaders of the deadly virus. Kareena was seen participating in a fun get-together hosted by costume designer Rhea Kapoor at her Mumbai residence. She also attended Karan Johar’s house party with Malaika Arora and Karisma Kapoor. The actress was brutally trolled after she tried to hide her face while stepping out of KJo’s house.
Actually, Karan had also invited ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ star Seema Khan and Maheep Kapoor to the party.
