The JMM leader made this remark after meeting Delhi and Punjab Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann in Ranchi.



Speaking on his turn, Kejriwal said the Center would be allowed to suppress the democratic rights of the people, adding that “the ordinance should be collectively defeated in Parliament.”

Kejriwal, along with senior AAP leaders, has been meeting top opposition party leaders to drum up support against the Centre’s ordinance deregulating administrative services in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday in a bid to garner the opposition’s support against the Centre’s ordinance. Taking to Twitter, the Delhi CM said, “Will meet Tamil Nadu CM Thiru @mkstalin tomorrow (June 1) in Chennai to seek DMK’s support against Centre’s unconstitutional-undemocratic ‘anti-Delhi’ ordinance.”

Kejriwal had said in a tweet, “On June 2, I will meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Ranchi. Will seek their support against the ordinance passed by the Modi government against the people of Delhi.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor has so far met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav.
