Vikramaditya is credited with the victory of his mother Pratibha Singh from Mandi, which has hitherto been seen as a stronghold of the BJP, and especially the state’s Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

Dismissing BJP’s claim that Pratibha won on the basis of ‘sympathy’, Vikramaditya said, “The Lok Sabha constituency of Mandi covers at least 17 assembly constituencies, so it is a reflection of discontent and resentment against the ruling party.” Is.” He said that victory in other assembly seats like Jubbal-Kotkhai and Arki is also a big relief for the Congress.
