Advocate Sai Deepak on Supreme Court’s remarks against Nupur Sharma: ‘Crime, redundancy and overshooting’

Supreme Court lawyer Sai Deepak termed the Supreme Court’s remarks on former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma blaming her for the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur as “crime, redundancy and overshooting”, the Supreme Court said. Advocate Sai Deepak said during a debate on CNN-News18 that the Supreme Court should remain within constitutional limits.

The Supreme Court bench was hearing Sharma’s plea seeking transfer of all cases against him in different states to Delhi as his “frequent threats to his life are in danger”.

Sharma said that he is constantly receiving death threats from different states.
