Aditya Narayan celebrates 41 years of his father Udit Narayan in the film and music industry

He posted a throwback picture of his father, veteran singer Udit Narayan, to mark the 41 melodious years of his debut in the music industry. Many friends and fans congratulated the legendary singer in the comments section, who over the years has earned immense popularity and fan following for her songs of choice. The picture was originally posted by Udit himself as he expressed his gratitude for all the opportunities, love and support. The singer made his debut as a playback singer with the film Unees Bees, which was directed by Swaroop Kumar and starred Mithun Chakraborty, Rakesh Roshan, Yogita Bali and Rita Bhaduri. The singer considers himself lucky to have sung his first song with his idol Mohammed Rafi. However, he got his big break in 1988 when he recorded songs for the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Udit gave many hits including Papa Kehte Hai Pehla Nasha, Ae Mere Humsafar, Tumse Mila, Ruk Jaa O Dil Deewane, Chand Chupa Badal Mein and Gajab Ka Hai Din. In a career spanning 41 years, Narayan won several awards including the Padma Bhushan and four national awards.
