Adipurush Box Office Collection: Prabhas’ film looks to be one of the biggest films of 2023. Adipurush, which is a retelling of Ramayana, opened to emotion with huge crowds in several theatres, with one seat reserved for Lord Hanuman. However, it faced several controversies regarding its dialogues and VFX. Meanwhile, there was a gradual decline in the collection of the film. Now, with the release of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s romantic film Satyaprem Ki Katha, Adipurush has slipped below Rs 1 crore mark.

Adipurush has been performing almost brilliantly at the box office since its release on 16th June. It registered a stupendous first weekend with a domestic collection of Rs 216 crore. The film is on target for its dialogues, colloquial language and VFX. The film faced outright disapproval from the audience for mocking the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. Many Hindu organizations have demanded a ban.
According to Sacnilk.com, Adipurush earned around Rs 90 lakh on Thursday (14th day). With this, the total collection at the domestic box office across all languages becomes approximately Rs 291.98 crore. It is facing tough competition from Satyaprem’s Katha, which collected around Rs 9 crore on the first day.
