New Delhi: Utsav Naik is one such talent who will soon be seen as lead actor in his upcoming drama, thriller and comedy debut film ‘Agantuk’ starring Hiten Kumar and Netri Trivedi. Directed by Naitek Rawal, the film will hit the theaters on February 17, 2023.
Utsav, a native of Kacholi village in Gujarat’s Navsari district, is excited about his big screen debut and believes that his debut film ‘Agantuk’ fulfills his wishes and dreams.
The actor expressed his excitement about his debut in the Gujarati film industry, saying, “It was my wish and expression to have Naitik Raval as the director of my debut film.” Playing a major role in the film.
During rehearsals, a newcomer in the world of films is bound to get nervous. Interestingly, Utsav Naik easily faced the cameras during the one-on-one rehearsal with Naitik Raval. I remember doing one-on-one rehearsals with Naitik sir during the pre-production of the film. He was telling me in depth details about the character I am playing in the film. I was also rehearsing with senior actor Hiten Kumar. I was so comfortable that I don’t remember fumbling or giving a wrong take during the shoot,” said Naik.
Agantuk is a comedy, drama and thriller film about a boy named Danish (played by Utsav Naik). The story of the film is very funny and unique and will keep you tied to your seat till the end.
“My reel life character is different from who I am in real life,” says Utsav Naik about getting into character for the first time. My character in the film, Danish, has a tattoo on his neck, which remains light. and wears neck ornaments. Naitikbhai suggested that I try contact lenses, which I did. It was easy for me to differentiate between Danish and Utsav Naik, which helped me a lot in character development.”
Naik said about the love and affection of the film’s team members, “My production team knew that I was working for the first time.” My co-stars including Netri Trivedi and Hiten Kumar sir never made me feel that this is my first film. As a first time actor, there was never any kind of pressure on me. I was never nervous and was able to completely embody my character in the film. All thanks to my team for their endless support.”
“On the first day of the shoot, it was a difficult task in a confined space, and I was sitting in a car with Hiten Kumar sir. I had to deliver a dialogue in front of senior actor Hiten sir, who has worked in the film. Naik Said, “I’m not sure what helped me or where I got my strength, but everything went smoothly and the shoot was over.”
Talking about his excitement for the film, Naik said, “Agantuk is releasing on February 17, 2023 and it is my first film.” I am very excited to see myself on the big screen, something I have wanted to do for many years and have worked very hard for. For the first time the whole world will see me on the big screen. The Visitors is an amazing story full of comedy, thrill and drama, and I hope and pray that the audience will enjoy watching it in theatres.
