South superstar and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumar has bought a pre-owned Lamborghini Urus SUV, joining the list of several film-stars across India to own a super SUV from the Italian brand. The images of the actor taking delivery of his SUV were shared by Royal Drive, a Kochi-based dealership of pre-owned luxury cars. According to a report, the actor traded his Lamborghini Huracan supercar to get himself an SUV. Prithviraj also owns Land Rover Defender 110, Range Rover Vogue, Porsche Cayenne and other exotic vehicles.
As can be seen in the pictures, Prithviraj’s Urus is finished in an all-black color scheme with red accents on the front splitter. The Huracan that Prithviraj traded in was the LP 580-2 variant with 580 PS of maximum power being delivered to the rear wheels. The black colored Huracan had a fancy number plate ‘KL 07 CN 1’ which was priced at Rs 7 lakh.
There is a high chance that the actor may buy the same number from Kerala RTO for this new SUV, which is Lamborghini’s best-selling vehicle. The SUV has the aggressive styling of a sports car, the performance of a Lamborghini and the practicality of an SUV to deal with bad road conditions and speed breakers.
Recently RRR star Jr NTR has bought himself Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule Edition, which costs more than the standard Urus and comes pre-configured from the factory. The Urus is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that is twin-turbocharged and churns out a maximum power output of 650 PS and a peak torque output of 850 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and power is transferred to all four wheels.
