Actor Karan Patel, one of India’s most popular small screen stars, is celebrating his birthday on Tuesday, November 23. The Kolkata-born actor started his career with the show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. After that, Karan was seen in several shows of Ekta Kapoor, including Kesar, Kavyanjali, Kasam Se, Karam Apna Apna and Kasturi. With his stellar work, Karan became an established actor in the TV industry.
Karan also participated in a reality show for the first time with Nach Baliye 3. After this he also participated in other reality show Kaun Jeetega. Bollywood Ka Ticket, Survivor India, Jahalak Dikhala Jaa, Kitchen Champion, and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
However, the actor did not get that much success in the film industry. He entered Bollywood in 2010 with the film City of Gold. He was next seen in Shootout at Wadala in 2013. He was last seen in a film in 2018 in Famous.
Karan played the role of Raman Bhalla in his popular TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show had a stellar six years. His opposite Divyanka Tripathi was seen in this show. The pair was well liked and appreciated by the audience. In an earlier interview, Karan said that if he ever plans a biopic on his life, Ranveer Singh should play him on screen. In 2015, Karan married actor Ankita Bhargava and in 2019 the two became parents to a daughter.
The couple named their daughter Mehr. Karan keeps sharing pictures with his daughter every day. Before marriage, Karan’s name was associated with many female actresses, his most talked about relationship was with Kamya Punjabi. There was a time when they were a well-known couple on TV. They left the company and are now happy in their respective lives.
