Dileep is one of those actors in Malayalam cinema who has left an indelible mark on audiences with hit films like Vellaripravinte Changathi and Kunjikkoonan to his credit. Dileep is particularly admired because of his effortless comic timing in films. He is now looking forward to his other film titled Bandra, directed by Arun Gopy. Dileep has now announced the release date of this film, which is November 10, with a poster unveiled on Instagram.

The poster shows him donning an intense expression and holding a weapon, with blood splattered on his hands. “Happily announcing the release of #Bandra on November 10,” the caption in his post read.

Dileep turned 56 years old on October 27 and received wishes from his fans and colleagues. He has entertained viewers for a long time with his unparalleled talent and acting performances. Starting from his humble beginnings with the film Mappilai, Dileep has become one of the prominent figures in Malayalam cinema. One of the leading directors shared the reason behind this to India Today. According to him, “He is a fast learner and brilliant with timing and dialogue delivery. He adapts mannerisms for the character easily and has definite ideas about what works for him. Since 1996, he has created a successful career with sheer determination. As an actor, he knows his limitations more than anybody else.”

Dileep is also gearing up for another film titled Thankamani: The Bleeding Village, written and directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan. Thankamani is a crime thriller that revolves around the real-life incident of a bus service dispute. This dispute happened in the Thankamani village, Idukki district of Kerala on October 21, 1986. This film also shows the social ramifications that happened in the village of Thankamani after the event. The whole incident stunned the entire country and Thankamani’s makers are trying to provide justice to the people affected by it, via their film.

The film stars Neeta Pillai, Pranitha Subhash, Ajmal Ameer, and Siddique. Manoj K Jayan, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Remya Panicker, John Vijay, and Sampath Ram in key roles.
