New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been putting up some stellar performances in his career. He has acted in hit movies like ‘Article 15’, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Andhadhun’ and others. He also received the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2018.
Now, the ‘Vicky Donor’ actor has announced his next film ‘Action Hero’ in which he will be playing the lead role. Directed by Anirudh Iyer, this genre-defining film will depict the journey of an artist in front of the camera and behind the lens.
Ayushmann announced the film on his social media and wrote, “The problem is just the same, me lena ki acting hai, ladna nahi… Once again with @Aanandlrai and #BhushanKumar for a genre-breaking collab. Super excited! This is special! #ActionHero”.
Commenting on his role, the ‘Badhaai Ho’ actor said, “I am thrilled to be working with Anand sir for the third time and I look forward to our track record of entertaining audiences across the globe with Action Hero. Will continue. I am also very excited to work with Bhushan ji again. Color Yellow and T-Series are like second home for me. I immediately loved the action hero script. It is zany, it is fresh, It is disruptive and has all the trappings of cinema that I am known for.”
Written by Neeraj Yadav and Anirudh Iyer, Action Hero is produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film will be shot in India and UK.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Action Hero’, Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, ‘Anek’ and ‘Doctor Ji’.
