A meeting of the heads of state of the quad countries is going on in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Meanwhile, China and Russia have done a very serious act. Fighter jets from China and Russia took off in a war drill close to the border with Japan. The Japanese government itself has confirmed this.
The reaction of the remaining three countries of the quad has not yet come on this action of both the countries. India, America, Australia and Japan are included in the quad. China alleges that the Quad members are conspiring to close its sea routes and they want to put pressure on it through force. Quad members have repeatedly denied China’s allegations.
Japan’s Defense Ministry statement
On Tuesday afternoon, Japan’s Defense Ministry said in a statement – Fighter jets from China and Russia have flown close to our border. We have clearly told these countries that this is a very serious act. The heads of state of India, America and Australia are present in our country. Fighter jets did not enter our airspace.
Since November, this has happened four times. For us this is a matter of concern.
There were a total of four fighter jets
According to the Defense Ministry of Japan, fighter jets from Russia and China flew close to our eastern border. Two fighter jets were from China and as many were from Russia. These aircraft were in the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean. Here the borders of Japan and China meet. On Tuesday, Russian intelligence planes also flew in the same area.
We have told both countries through diplomatic channels that Japan will not tolerate these antics.
$50 billion to Quod
The quad countries took a very important decision on Tuesday and it is a reason for China to be worried. The four countries have decided that $50 billion will be spent over five years to increase infrastructure and investment in the Indo-Pacific region. Apart from Prime Minister Modi, US President Joe Biden also attended this meeting.
The simple meaning of this budget is that the four countries together will end every move of China’s dominance in the Indo-Pacific region. China claims most of this region as its territory. China even has a problem that it wants to call the Indo-Pacific Ocean as Asia Pacific instead of Indo-Pacific. He objected to the word Indo-Pacific.
