Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021: Mohammad Amir ruled out after being affected by Kovid-19

Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has pulled out of the Abu Dhabi T10 League starting November 19. He confirmed through a social media post on Thursday that he is affected by Kovid-19.

Amir wrote on Twitter on Thursday, “Hi everyone just wanted to say that I am not playing T10 league this year as I got affected by Kovid but now I am fine Prayed Alhamdulillah for a speedy recovery needed.”

Amir, who announced his retirement in 2019, was a party of franchise Bangla Tigers that also includes the likes of Faf du Plessis, James Faulkner, Andre Fletcher and Hazratullah Zazai.

The fifth edition of the T10 league will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The shortest format of the game is hosted by Emirates. Cricket It is the only T10 tournament in the world sanctioned by the Board (ECB) and International Cricket Council (ICC).
