ABP CVoter Survey: Three-way vote-sharing in Goa, predicted a hung assembly

ABP CVoter Survey Assembly Election 2022: With the elections for the 2022 Assembly elections in Goa being held soon, leaders and political parties are making their last effort to woo the voters in their favour.

The polling date in Goa is February 14, 2022, while the results of the assembly elections will be declared on March 10.

With just days left for the crucial assembly elections in Goa, ABP News along with CVoter conducted a survey to assess the mood of the people in the state.

Goa Election 2022 – vote share %

In the January opinion polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading and trying to grab the maximum number of seats in the coastal state of Goa. Now according to the latest ABP News-CVoter survey, BJP is still ahead with 30% vote share but has come down slightly from January. The latest survey by ABP News-CVoter shows that the Congress has grabbed some land in the electoral state. With 24% vote share, AAP has the most progressive lead, considering how much time it has spent in the state.

Goa Election 2022 – seat projection

In Goa Assembly Election 2022, looking at the vote share percentage as predicted by ABP News-CVoter survey, the contest appears to be triangular between BJP, Congress and AAP.

However, looking at the seats estimated by the ABP News-CVoter survey, BJP is leading with 14 to 18 seats, Congress 10 to 14 seats and AAP with 4 to 8 assembly seats.

As you can see, the Congress is making some gains in the last leg of the campaign and is looking to outdo the AAP, which was ranked second in the January opinion poll. BJP is projected to win maximum 14-18 seats, but is still short of the majority mark.

ABP News-CVoter February poll shows BJP ahead of Congress, but not going past the 20-seat majority mark in Goa. Small parties and independent candidates will play an important role in forming the government in the state.
