ABP News CVoter Survey for UP Election 2022: Campaigning is at its peak in Uttar Pradesh as elections are to be held in the early months of 2022 to elect 403 members of the state assembly.

With permutations and combinations taking shape among the contesting party, with only a few months left for the UP Assembly elections, ABP News in association with CVoter conducted a survey to understand the sentiment of voters in the state.

Yogi Adityanath-led BJP is still the favorite among voters, according to an ABP News-CVoter survey in the first week of November, while Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party is gaining some ground as Mayawati’s BSP is slipping. ,

Here’s a look at the findings of the ABP News-CVoter survey conducted in the first week of November to get an in-depth understanding of the mood of voters.

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022: Vote Share Percentage

In the 2017 UP Assembly elections, the BJP managed to secure 41.4% of the vote, while the incumbent SP managed to garner only 23.6% of the vote. The BSP was restricted at 22.2%.

According to new estimates in November, the BJP is unlikely to lose the confidence of voters as it remains at 40.7 per cent among poll participants, a marginally negative swing of 0.7% since 2017.

From the ABP CVoter survey, it appears that the fall in BSP’s vote percentage is an advantage for the SP. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi with an aggressive approach is making some progress in the minds of voters as there is an increase of 2.6% as compared to 2017 elections.

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022: Seat Projection Range

The BJP had emerged victorious in the last UP assembly elections 2017 with 325 seats in the 403-member assembly. While the SP captured only 48 seats, the BSP managed to capture 19 seats and the Congress only seven assembly seats.

The picture is still golden for the ruling BJP as the ABP News-CVoter survey conducted in the first month of November shows that this time the range of seats for them will be 213-221. Akhilesh Yadav’s SP will have huge gains as the seat estimated for him in the upcoming UP assembly elections is between 152 and 160.
