Abhishek Dhiman (27), a resident of Harteda village of Galod area of ​​Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, has become an IPS from HAS. He has secured 374th rank in the entire country in the UPSC examination. Presently he is taking training as HAS officer at Hippa. Abhishek has given the credit of this achievement to his parents and his sister. Abhishek says that seeing his parents, brother-in-law in a government job, he often used to think that he too has to become a big officer. In this desire, he kept his studies for the UPSC examination smooth for three years.

Please inform that Abhishek Dhiman was first selected for the post of Excise Inspector in the state. The second success came when he was selected for the post of Block Development Officer. But still kept on trying. After this he got selected for Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service. But it remained in my heart that I had dreamed of becoming an IPS officer in childhood, which is not being fulfilled, so he kept the goal of cracking the UPSC exam.

It was found during the training itself that UPSC was cleared.

Abhishek Dhiman told that he got the news around 7 pm on Friday that he has secured 374th rank across the country in the UPSC result. At first he did not believe it, but after seeing the list he became happy. He also called his parents and took their blessings. During this he was on training for HAS, when it came to know about clearing UPSC.

Passed exam in third attempt without coaching

Abhishek Dhiman, who does mechanical engineering, told that his mother Indira Devi is working as a lecturer in Upper Hatera, while father Roopchand Kaundal is retired from the post of SDO from Public Works Department. Sister is married and brother-in-law is posted as Professor. Abhishek Dhiman revealed that he did not take any coaching. Passed the exam in the third attempt by doing self study.

Ranked sixth in the HAS examination across the state

Abhishek has also cleared the HAS exam in 2019 and secured the sixth position across the state. He also gave this exam without any coaching. Passed the B.Tech exam from VIT Chennai, after which passed the HAS exam in the very first attempt. He said that he worked very hard to pass this exam. Today only he has been able to pass this exam with his hard work and the support of his parents.
