Abhishek Bachchan buys remake rights for ‘Oath Seruppu Size 7’, shooting to begin in Chennai – Times of India

Abhishek Bachchan’s name has been associated with the Hindi remake of ‘Othatha Seruppu Size 7’ for quite some time now and looks like the actor has already started shooting for it. According to a news portal, Junior Bachchan is producing the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil thriller ‘Othatha Seruppu Size 7’ under his banner and the shooting of the same has recently started in Chennai. He is reportedly associated with the project, which is being directed by Parthiban, who also called the shots for the original film. ‘Oath Seruppu Size 7’ is a hit Tamil thriller which released in 2019, the Abhishek Bachchan starrer remake will have a slightly twisted narrative. ‘Othatha Seruppu Size 7’ is written, directed, produced and titled by Parthiban and received two honors at the prestigious 67th National Film Awards in 2019.
