Aari Arjunan has started dubbing for his upcoming film Nenjukku Nidhi. The film is a remake of Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Article 15’. The 2019 social-drama was directed by Anubhav Sinha.
Aari shared the update on Twitter along with a set of pictures. Boney Kapoor is producing the Tamil remake. Actor-politician Udayanidhi Stalin will reprise the role, which was played by Ayushmann. Tanya Ravichandra, Shivani Rajasekhar, Yamini Chander, Suresh Chakraborty, Ilavarasan, Mayilsamy, Abdul Lee are part of the project. It is directed by Arunraja Kamaraj.
In the pictures shared on Twitter, Aari is seen posing inside the studio. “Nenjukku Nidhi dubbing begins,” wrote the actor.
Meanwhile, Udayanidhi started dubbing his part last week.
Article 15 focuses on caste-discrimination. The film is currently streaming on Netflix. In this, Kumud Mishra, Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta and Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub is in the lead role.
The saw is a part of Justice for the Chest. The shooting of this project has been completed and its dubbing has also started. Aari became a household name with her appearance in Bigg Boss.
Nenjukku Nidhi is the second directorial venture for Arunaraja Kamaraj. He made his directorial debut with Kaana, which starred Sivakarthikeyan.
Meanwhile, producer Boney Kapoor is busy with the production of his upcoming film Valimai.
