Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President Bhagwat Mann on Sunday urged the people of the state to beware of those practicing hate politics during elections and cast their votes without any fear, greed or influence. The AAP on Sunday ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the Samyukta Samaj Morcha (SSM), the agricultural organization, and asserted that it would be the only party to go to the polls with a chief ministerial face.

Mann, while addressing a media conference, said that his party did not hold any seat-sharing meeting with the SSM, which is headed by Balbir Singh Rajewal. Sangoor MP said that AAP will form government in Punjab on March 10. He assured that no worker will have to go on strike if AAP comes to power.

“We guarantee you that AAP already has a roadmap ready for the development of Punjab. Every class is part of this roadmap and we are informing people about it,” Mann said. He also said that the state treasury depends on the intentions of the ruling party and the AAP government will stop looting of the exchequer while replenishing the treasury for using its money for the welfare of the people. Mann welcomed the announcements of the Election Commission and said that AAP will follow all the guidelines.

Meanwhile, Rajewal on Sunday ruled out an alliance with AAP for next month’s Punjab Assembly polls and said they would announce their candidates within a week. Various farmers’ organizations in Punjab, which took part in the movement against the Centre’s now withdrawn agriculture law, launched their political front last month and announced they would contest the assembly elections. Look when the time comes.”
