Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) faction leader Sanjay Raut claimed that the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government practices black magic. Reacting to India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma’s iconic show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ on Saturday (February 25), Sanjay Raut backed his claims saying ‘people of Maharashtra feel it’. ‘
Excerpts:
Rajat Sharma: I read a sensational editorial of yours in which you wrote that black magic, lemon-chilli, black dolls are being practiced in the government?
Sanjay Raut: Go to Mantralaya and CM House to see what is happening… What animals did they sacrifice at the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati. Everyone knew this, what was there to hide in this? Go to people’s homes in Maharashtra to find out if black magic is being practiced anywhere. This is not a tradition in Maharashtra homes, it is a superstition.
Rajat Sharma: It was written in the article that Supriya Sule’s sari caught fire, Ajit Pawar got stuck in the lift, Balasaheb Thorat’s shoulder was broken, Dhananjay Munde had an accident, Sanjay Raut had to go to jail. All this happened because of black magic?
Sanjay Raut: You didn’t read the last line. I wrote “people of Maharashtra feel it”.
Rajat Sharma: Do you think this black magic will disappear in a few days?
Sanjay Raut: “Black magic is black magic. I believe in Balasaheb’s magic.”
