In the affair of fame, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab has come under the target of opponents. Opponents claimed that the AAP government spent Rs 24 crore on advertising in a month. RTI information has been cited for this. Opposition parties taunted that AAP, which came to power by claiming to fill the state treasury, itself is busy emptying it. Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Vading, Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira and BJP leader Manjinder Sirsa have raised questions on CM Bhagwant Mann regarding this.

Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira tweeted a copy of the RTI information. He said that in the month of April alone, 24 crores were spent on publicity. Tell Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann that in this way they had promised to fill the treasury of Punjab. Khaira said that with One MLA, One Pension, the government would save only 8 crores in a year and spent so much here in a month. Khaira said that Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann are misusing people’s money for self-promotion.

9 thousand crores loan and 24 crores spent on publicity in 3 months: Sirsa
BJP leader Manjinder Sirsa said that the Aam Aadmi Party government took a loan of 9 thousand crores in the last 3 months. In the month of April alone, 24.40 crores were spent on publicity and advertisements of the government. Till now no woman of Punjab has been given 1000 rupees a month. No subsidy was given on electricity and water. Sirsa said that CM Bhagwant Mann should answer that when no work is done then what is the publicity for? This is not Inquilab, it is Kejriwal’s Delhi model.

Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Vading said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is running on the oxygen of publicity. One crore rupees is being spent every day.
