Aamir Khan expresses happiness to the industry as Maha Cinema gears up for Diwali release

A few weeks ago, movie theaters opened in Maharashtra and they left cinema lovers smiling with ear-to-ears. Within 24 hours of the reopening of theaters, a deluge of release date announcements hit the mainstream and social media. The Hollywood release helped the business stay afloat in troubled waters.

Many Bollywood, TV and web actors again came on screen to witness the magic of silver screen and expressed their excitement. Here’s what he said:

Aamir Khan shared, “It is a matter of great happiness that theaters have finally opened in Maharashtra. We all were eagerly waiting for this. Many big films are in line for release. Best wishes to all.”

TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani said, “What a beautiful feeling. I am completely overwhelmed. I still can’t process the fact that our cinemas have finally opened. We are back to normal. We are back in theatres. And watch a film. It’s a tremendous feeling. I’m very happy.”

Talking about his experience, Nandish Sandhu said, “It is a wonderful experience to be back in theatres. We were all looking forward to being back in theatres. I am back after 1.5 years. The experience has been just so amazing. Sometimes we take it lightly.But we forget that this whole experience of watching movies on big screen is out of the world.And now after watching movies and shows at home on TV for one and half year and now back in theatres. Have a feast to come.”

Preeti Jhangiani said, “The theater has amazing security measures everywhere. I am sure everyone will feel safe coming back to watch movies. It is a wonderful experience.”

Aishwarya Sakhuja said, “Coming back to films is like a bag of mixed emotions. I feel like I was never far but watching films on the big screen makes me realize that I am no longer used to it. I am very happy That theaters are opening, theaters are opening. We will be able to see these films on the big screen, where they deserve to be seen. Excited.”

‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ director Milap Zaveri said, “It’s great to be back in films. It’s absolutely fantastic. I was missing the smell of popcorn and Audi seat. I would request everyone to come and watch them in theatres. . Movies. It’s absolutely safe. Theaters are following all SOPs. Everything is wonderful.”

Daisy Bopanna said, “So all of a sudden the screen feels like nostalgia. It’s like something from the past. Complete the nostalgia where we used to come to theaters to watch the film. It’s a really lovely feeling.”

Shreyas Puranik shared, “I am overjoyed. To be out of our OTT platform and home theatre. Nice to be back at last.”

Aishwarya Bhandari said, “Yes, and great voice, great cinematic experience. Now that theaters have opened, I think everyone would want to come back. I am very happy to share with you all that it is all safe. People are taking precautions. Theaters are following all safety precautions.”

Iqbal Khan said, “I am really happy as everything else was going on except cinema halls in Mumbai. I was really missing the magic of going and watching the film on the big screen. It’s a different experience.”

Harshali Zain shared, “I am watching a film in theaters after more than 2 years. It’s great. It’s like a whole new world. It’s a wonderful experience.”

Abhilash Kumar mentioned, “I had a crazy experience. We all have been waiting for the theaters to open for the past 2 years. I had an amazing time watching the film. It’s so much fun.

Aahana Kumra talks about finally leaving the laptop screen and watching movies where they are – on the silver screen, “I’m so excited. It’s my profession. It’s my job. I’m so excited to be back. This It’s nice to see a movie in a theatre, in Dolby. Not watching it on a laptop from home. It’s exciting. It has its own charm. Welcome to the cinema.”

An excited Nidhi Uttam shared, “It’s really thrilling. I never thought theaters would open so soon. But I am very impressed with the way theaters have come back. Things are so settled here. I am back. So excited to go. Watch more movies on screen. It’s going to be amazing.”

Talking about missing the screen, Ankur Rathi said, “It’s an amazing feeling. I am visiting a theater after such a long time. It’s been 2.5 years. I loved it.”

Sandeep Anand said that nothing can come close to the experience of cinema, “Cinema is a totally different experience. Cinema is cinema. There is no substitute for it. No home theater can compare to the experience of watching a movie in a cinema hall.” It is a complete experience in itself. I got very emotional once again entering the cinema auditorium. I have always been a cinema lover. That’s why I am in this field. Cinema after so long I watch movies. It’s a pleasure for me”.
