Hindus will celebrate Skanda Sashti, a religious festival on this day. Lord Skanda, an incarnation of Kartikeya, is worshiped on the day of Skanda Shashti. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Skanda is also known as Murugan, Karthikeyan and Subramanya. Devotees keep a fast on Shashthi Tithi in Shukla Paksha’s Shashthi. The sunrise is expected at 6:51 AM and the sunset time is predicted at 6:18 PM. It is believed that the moonrise will be at 10:01 am and the moonset time is likely to be at 11:45 am.

Shashti Tithi will be on February 26 till 12.20 pm and after that Saptami Tithi will take place. Bharani Nakshatra will be effective till 3.59 pm, after that Kritika Nakshatra will be seen. Moon will be in Aries while Sun will be in Aquarius.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR FEBRUARY 25

The auspicious time of Brahma Muhurt will be from 5:10 am to 6:01 am while Abhijeet Muhurt will be effective between 12:11 pm to 12:57 pm. Twilight Muhurta is likely to be effective from 6.16 pm to 6.41 pm. Vijay Muhurta will be observed from 2:29 PM to 3:15 PM, and Syahna Sandhya Muhurta will be between 6:18 PM to 7:33 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR FEBRUARY 25

The inauspicious time for Rahu Kalam is from 9:43 AM to 11:08 AM while Gulikai Kalam is expected to be between 6:51 AM to 8:17 AM. Yamagand Muhurta will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 3:26 PM while Baan Muhurta will be in fire till 7:24 AM.
