With just one day left for the Movie Artists Association (MAA) 2021 elections, the war of words is getting intense.
Throwing his weight behind Prakash Raj, actor Naga Babu on Friday (October 8) made some scathing remarks against Vishnu Manchu.
Naga Babu said that Vishnu does not have those traits which are in Prakash Raj. “Prakash is aware of the big picture of MAA.” Naga Babu further said that Prakash is forthright and knowledgeable enough to fight Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Naga Babu further attacks Vishnu by saying, “If a test is done in Telugu for both Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj, Vishnu will not even get the passing marks. Vishnu calls Prakash Raj an outsider, but he is first called in Telugu. The language should be learned.
Further supporting Prakash, Naga Babu asked people to support Prakash Raj. “Prakash has good knowledge in films and many other fields. He will be suitable for the post of MAA President.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Mohan Babu asked veteran actor and former politician Kota Srinivasa Rao to support Vishnu Manchu.
Kota shared his experience of working with the actor while criticizing Prakash and said, “I have played lead supporting roles in around 15 films with Prakash. And not once did he reach the set on time. He is not a disciplined and punctual actor and I don’t want to comment on his abilities as an actor.
Further supporting Vishnu, Kota said, “I am sure he will win the election as there is no other option. He has to win. I request the members of MAA to vote for Vishnu.
Along with Kota, Manchu is supported by senior heroes like Krishna, Krishna Raju and Balakrishna. Vishnu said, ‘I have the support of senior heroes of the industry. In a way, Mahesh Babu has Prabhas.
On October 10, the president and new office bearers of the apex body of Telugu cinema will be elected. With Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu contesting for the post of president, members of both the panels are making efforts to attract voters. The results of the elections will be declared on the same day.
