After airing its first episode in 1998, CID premiered its last episode in 2018, becoming one of the longest-running television series in India.
Actor Gaurav Khanna reunites with his CID family for an exciting television crossover, which is all set to happen in the hit daily soap Anupamaa. The television star didn’t fail to tease fans about the new twist via Instagram. He posted pictures with veteran actors Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Chandrasekhar Shetty and Sudhanshu Pandey.
In the photo, all the four actors of CID are seen standing next to each other. In his casual look, Gaurav was seen wearing a black pullover over denim jeans and paired it with matching sneakers. While Shivaji was seen in his signature style of formal suit, Dayanand and Sudhanshu were seen semi-casual in shirts and trousers. Deleting a happy picture of their meet and greet, Gaurav expressed his happiness to reunite with his CID castmates and wrote, “It was great meeting them after so long…all CID For fans ..”
Reportedly, Anupama will seek Khanna’s Anuja Kapadia ACP Pradyuman and Daya’s help in finding out about the newly introduced character Maya (played by Chhavi Pandey), who claims to be the biological mother of their adopted daughter, younger Anu, in the show.
