Delhi Police on Thursday arrested Prince Dixit, a YouTuber, for violating traffic rules in the national capital. He had celebrated his birthday in November last year by standing on the roofs of moving cars on NH-24 near Pandav Nagar with his friends. Police arrested Dixit after the video of the incident went viral on social media.
Delhi Police took cognizance of this viral video on Thursday. “Cognizance has been taken of the matter. We are probing it to identify the culprits and get the details of the time of incident. Appropriate legal action will be taken against the culprits,” it said in a tweet.

Police is on the lookout for Dixit’s friends who were involved in the incident. During interrogation, Prince told the police that the video was shot on November 16 last year. He told that the video was shot while going from NH24 to Shakarpur on his birthday.
According to the police, Prince had appealed to his YouTube followers not to act like him and follow traffic guidelines.
