The Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Friday approved the COVID GRAP, and it imposes four tiers of economic restrictions that will apply if the infection positivity rate is from 0.5% to the lowest alert level, more than 5%, to the highest. The capital recorded 81 fresh Covid-19 cases and three deaths due to the disease on Friday. The positivity rate fell slightly from 0.12% on Thursday to 0.11% when 93 cases and three deaths were recorded. Friday’s fatalities have taken the death toll in the city to 25,011. Meanwhile, the onset of Monsoon is expected to be declared over Delhi today and there is a possibility of light rain in the city, forecast the Meteorological Department.
