8th Late Female Cadet Stanzin Ojes Memorial Inter Village Ice-Hockey Tournament
A project goodwill effort of Chushul Brigade, the tournament began in Tangtse amid traditional fanfare, in the shadow of COVID restrictions and protocols. In the opening match, Chushul and Shchukul played out a well-deserved draw, sharing four goals.
Seven teams are participating in this week-long tournament, the final of which is to be held on 5 December. Chushul’s team won.
The local people discussed their problems with Brigadier Mac Tamang, VSM for lack of infrastructure as per international standards. The Brigadier assured him of support from the military and civilian departments.
