8,900 Kovid-19 cases, six deaths in Haryana Chandigarh News – Times of India

Chandigarh: Gurugram And Faridabad Sunday’s Covid tally dominated with 53% new cases as Haryana recorded 8,900 cases, six deaths and 4361 recoveries during the day.

The highest number of 3,378 new cases were reported in Gurugram, followed by Faridabad with 1,396 new cases, 718 from Panchkula while 536 new cases were reported in Ambala. 414 cases were reported from Sonipat and 360 from Karnal.
272 new cases were reported in Hisar, followed by 240 from Rohtak, 214 from Sirsa, 207 from Panipat, 196 from Yamunanagar, 180 from Jhajjar, 152 from Rewari, 121 from Jind, 113 from Kurukshetra and 103 from Bhiwani district.
Palwal recorded a minimum of 13 cases while rest of the districts reported 14 to 100 cases.
On the vaccination front, out of a total of 66598 doses for the day, the first dose was administered to 27,324 cases and the second dose to 36,137 individuals. Precautionary doses were given to 3137 persons as the cumulative coverage of Covid-19 vaccination in the state has reached 37942386.
