777 Charlie Director Kiranraj K’s Next Is Horror Comedy With A ‘Logical Take’: Reports

Kiranraj K, one of the debutant directors of Kannada cinema, will make his directorial debut in 2022 with 777 Charlie. His directorial debut was a huge success, and ever since then, film lovers have been eagerly waiting for his next project. Considering that his primary venture was such a huge success, expectations from his second film are sky high.

Kiranraj K has already started work on his next project, which is touted to be a horror comedy-fantasy adventure. Talking about his next film, the director revealed that the film will not be a typical horror comedy and will have a logical take on the genre. As per reports, the filmmaker has done a lot of research for the untitled drama, which is expected to be made on a lavish budget.

He expressed his desire to make it a bilingual film with dubbed versions in several languages. The pre-production work for the drama is currently underway, said the report. The director has a few other stories in the works. Kiranraj K also wants to incorporate a lot of realistic elements in the subject of his upcoming play.

Now, let’s turn our attention to 777 Charlie. The film starred actor Rakshit Shetty as a Labrador retriever, Sangeeta Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait, Bobby Simha and Anirudh Roy in other prominent roles. The film talks about the heart-melting story of the unique bond between a simple factory worker and a stray dog.

Produced by GS Gupta and Rakshit Shetty under the banner of Paramavaha Studios, Nobin Paul has composed the music for this highly acclaimed drama. While Arvind S Kashyap cranks the camera for the film, Prateik Shetty has taken care of the editing. This adventure comedy released in cinema halls on 10th June 2022 and opened to critical acclaim.

Kiranraj K has also been honored with the Best Director Award at the 13th edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
