Bengaluru-based musician Ricky Cage won the Grammy for Best Immersive Audio Album for his most recent album Divine Tides with rock-legend Stewart Copeland (The Police).

Beyonce’s career total of 88 nominations sets a new record – one tied with her husband Jay-Z, who earned five nominations this year. During the premiere ceremony, the pop star won two Grammy Awards, breaking his tie with Quincy Jones for 28 wins. The singer’s Break My Soul – No. 1 and Renaissance’s lead single – won Best Dance/Electronic Recording during the premiere ceremony. This is Beyoncé’s first win in the dance category. She also took home the award for Best Traditional R&B Performance for Plastic Off the Sofa.
