Kanyakumari: 63 COVID patients were shifted to other wards after a fire broke out in the main block of the state. Kanyakumari Government Medical College Hospital on Wednesday night.

The cause of the fire is being investigated,” he said.
There were 150 patients in the Kovid-19 ward and the general ward. In the initial examination, it was found that the patients did not have difficulty in breathing. However, as a precautionary measure, the Covid-19 patients were shifted to other vacant wards.
Police and fire and rescue service personnel were investigating the cause of the fire. Staff members and others present at the time of the fire are also being questioned by the hospital.
