6 Injured As Bus Collides With A Truck Near Shiv Nadar Univ | Noida News – Times of India

Greater Noida: Six persons were injured after a bus collided with a truck near Shiv Nadar University under Dadri police station jurisdiction on Tuesday morning. Police said that are being made from both the sides.
According to police, around 8am, they received a call on their helpline number where the caller informed about the accident.
“A team was hastened to the spot where we found that a truck had collided with the bus. It was a side-on collision more towards the driver’s side of the bus. In the incident, six people, including a woman, were found to be injured,” a senior officer of Dadri police station said.
The six were hastened to the hospital and both vehicles were removed from the spot in order to avoid traffic.
The injured were identified as bus driver Chhote Lal, bus conductor Sudhir, SeemaAshok Kumar, Ravinder and Aamir.
“The bus has been badly damaged from the front side due to the heavy impact of the truck. It was heading from Dadri to Bulandshahr while the truck was goint to Lal Kuan in Ghaziabad. The accident happened near the underpass opposite RV North land,” the officer added. Police said that all those injured are out of danger while they have received complaints from the bus driver, truck driver as well as from the passengers. “We are analyzing the sequence of the event and would take appropriate action accordingly. A case will be registered soon after a detailed investigation,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, in the last five years, more than 2,000 people have lost their lives in nearly 4,600 road accidents in the district. As per the data shared by Gautam Budh Nagar police, the year 2021 alone reported 798 crashes, in which 368 people died and around 550 were injured. Despite the less traffic due to Covid-induced lockdown for months in 2020, the district reported 745 accidents, in which 380 people died and 528 were injured.
